Cuprinol Garden Shades paint is a water based product so any remaining oil or wax from previous treatments will likely repel the paint. Special pigments ensure a rich colour and allow the natural texture of the woodgrain to shine through.

Don't apply in temperatures below 5°C, in damp conditions or if rain is likely before the product has dried. It is important that any wood preservative used does not contain wax, oil or silicon as these will penetrate the wood and repel any water-based product that is applied on top. Protect and preserve interior and exterior wood against rot, mould, algae, fungal growth, insect attack and more with these treatments and woodworm killers. Complement the earthy tones with Seagrass and Wild Thyme, which mimic the colours of sturdy Mediterranean planting.As its sprayable, it also needs to be of low viscosity and will be runnier than other traditional paints. Before moving onto the next phase, go back over what you have just done with the next coat before moving on to the next phase. Any overspray should be cleaned up immediately (whilst still wet) with water and household detergent.
